Condition (used): barely fair for age  (see below) - retired library copy with library sticker to front cover, pouch, stamp and cancellation marks to inside cover, sticker, cancellation marks and numerous stamps to flyleaf, stamps to first and last pages, fairly minor edge/corner wear, general wear, discolouration and grubbiness to the cover and external spine, otherwise marks commensurate with age and use - the pages are generally fair with light tanning and occasional light foxing throughout.

Identifying marks or labels etc:  "Hutchinson & Co (Publishers) Ltd ...First Published 1953".

Other information: hardback without dust jacket - very interesting and rare old book - may be of some interest to a collector.
