Condition (used): fair for age (see below) - some fairly minor edge/corner wear and some light marks to the cover and external spine including two lines of what looks like glue residue to the back cover, some paper separation between frontispiece and page 1 (internal binding intact), taped repair to pages 3/4, some minor damage to the bottom 3cm centred on the spine and present almost throughout, 10cm tear to bottom of endpage at the spine, otherwise fairly minor marks commensurate with age and use - the pages are generally fair with light tanning throughout.

Other information: hardback without dust jacket - unclipped (Price 6/- Net) , attractive and rare children's book with many attractive period single colour & b/w illustrations and photographs including a colour plate frontispiece, has an interesting Cadbury's Advert in the form of a board game on the back cover - may be of some interest to a collector.
