Condition (used): poor for age  (see below) - SOLD AS SEEN - some edge/corner wear, scribbling, grubbiness, water staining, school stamps and other marks to the cover and external spine, appears to be missing the end page and flyleaf (possibly removed when retired as a school library copy), ink, crayon and pencil scribbling to pages 3/4, 1/2 and occasionally throughout, occasional damaged pages, otherwise marks commensurate with age and use - the pages are generally fair with light tanning throughout and occasional light foxing.

Identifying marks or labels etc:  "Copyright 1937...... Edited by John R Crossland and JM Parrish".

Other information: hardback without dust jacket - attractive and fairly rare children's book with many attractive period & b/w illustrations and a few colour plates by Anne Anderson and others - may be of some interest to a collector.
