Condition (used):  very good for age in barely fair box (see below) - the box is quite worn with edge/corner wear, damaged edges and corners to the lid, some fading/discolouration/foxing, the contents are generally good/very good: the Harrods order form leaflet, the "Important Notice!" leaflet instructions etc and the two sample deals (by Newscraft Inc) are discoloured to varying extents, the sealed and unopened envelope of "Group D Advanced Series 24 Deals With Leaflet Giving Analysis" is discoloured but presumably the contents are pristine, the protective tissue layer is worn with some foxing, the Autobridge board is very good, otherwise minor marks commensurate with age and use.

Identifying marks or labels etc:  "British Patent No 453 408 Made In United States Of America Trade Mark Registered" on the board "Copyright 1938 By Autobridge Inc manufactured By Newscraft Inc" on the sample deals.

Other information:  fascinating old set with Autobridge board constructed in hardboard, we are uncertain of the exact age of this item but judging by the various copyrights would suggest the late 1930s - may be of some interest to a collector.

Approximate weight:  940g.
