Condition (used): generally fair/good for age in poor box (see below) - very nearly complete - this edition contains the following elements: board, 12 wooden hotels, 30 wooden houses, 15 Community Chest cards, 13 Chance cards, a good quantity of money, full set of properties, 6 metal tokens, 2 dice and an instructions leaflet - the outer box is extremely worn with corner/edge wear, extensive damage and general grubbiness and marks, the inner card boxes/trays are in reasonable condition with fairly minor marks, the board is good with minor marks to the playing surface, the car token has one broken wheel, otherwise the contents are generally all good with minor marks commensurate with age and use.
Identifying marks or labels etc: "Monopoly Trade Mark Pat App. For No.3796-36" on box and "manufactured In England by John Waddington Limited" on instructions.
Other information: great vintage game and fairly rare in this long box edition, we are not entirely sure of the age but believe it to be just pre World War II - may be of some interest to a collector.
