Condition (used): fair for age (see below) - it has developed a little patina and the blade has some rubs (which seem to reveal a more silver coloured metal underneath), otherwise fairly minor marks commensurate with age and use.

Identifying marks or labels etc:  none.

Other information: an interesting metal letter opener in a brass-coloured metal with decorative hilt, the decoration is on both sides - we are not entirely sure of the age but would suggest circa mid 20th century - may be of some interest to a collector.

Approximate dimensions:    23cm (length) 5cm (width).

Approximate weight:  26g.
